The Cover-Up
It’s an entanglement of stories portrayed in a documentary movie of how Deirdre Gilbert’s daughter’s life was stolen and how the laws of Texas and this country leave average American, hardworking citizens with no recourse and no justice. The corrupt, unscrupulous, unconscionable principles of legislative leaders would be the reason for Deirdre’s journey to run for higher political office. The two-party system didn’t embrace her and instead created a blanket that would shield the public about her candidacy, so Deirdre stood up.
Deirdre Gilbert alleges that the systems that were created to uphold the law used in their legal professions to knowingly and willingly assist in criminal and fraudulent behavior of political candidates. The Unprincipled will disclose the “deceit, misrepresentation and fraud that resonated throughout the election process and that the role of the accused played a significant role in exasperating the nightmare.” The documentary will attempt to balance the love story of her daughter, the loss of her life and finding a way to shimmer light on the truth. The documentary is intense, shocking and beyond imaginable. It will expose the truth behind the political machines that are shrouded in corruption and secrecy. This documentary will bring these issues to light, inform the general public, and hopefully, move the American people to outcry and concerted action.

Two-Party Systems
The two party systems told Deirdre Gilbert that she wasn’t a viable candidate. Viability in the minds of the political machines was based on how much money one could raise. They were never interested in humanity. Deirdre had lost her daughter to medical negligence and justice was never served. She had been belittled and abused in courts where judges abused their power. Deirdre tried sitting at the table to change laws. No one would help; no one would assist in the injustices. No one cared about the least of us. It became evident that the two party systems were broken, no longer able to think past their own personal gains. If Deirdre couldn’t get the laws changed; if she wasn’t welcomed at the table, she would run for Governor herself. Deirdre soon realized that there were no rules for good standards, so SHE STOOD UP.
